Do I need to register online to search for an open job?
You can search for open positions at Methodist Healthcare without registering. However, to apply for a position, you will want to upload a current résumé (and cover letter or certification documents if applicable) and provide information to let us know who you are and how you qualify for the position you are seeking. Once you have completed this process, you can apply for as many positions as you like.
Who will contact me?
A Methodist recruiter reviews all applications submitted, and contacts the applicants who are best suited for the position.
For most nursing and allied health positions, your first contact will be from a recruiter. The recruiter will conduct a brief screening interview on the phone. Our purpose is to find the best candidates for the job. The recruiter should be able to tell you at the end of that conversation whether you are going on to the next level, but it’s not always certain.
How long does my information remain in your system?
Your profile and information remain in our system for one year after each application. We appreciate your desire to JoinMEthodist, and look forward to working with you.
What happens to my application when I apply online?
Your application is automatically routed to the appropriate recruiter in Human Resources who reviews applications continually. Your skills and experience will be compared with the requirements for the job.
When will I be contacted after I successfully apply online?
You will receive an automatic e-mail notification after you submit your application. Note that this may be the only correspondence you receive about your status. Because of the large number of applications we receive, we are only able to contact candidates who best match the requirements for the position. Please be sure to read the requirements listed for each job prior to applying.
Why is it important to provide a résumé/work history?
Attaching résumés to your application will allow recruiters to compare your skills and experiences to those that best fit the job. Also, recruiters will need your contact information if you are being considered for an open position.
